The objective of the BRAIN Initiative Advanced Postdoctoral Career Transition Award to Promote Diversity (K99/R00) is to enhance biomedical research workforce diversity and foster a strong cohort of new, highly skilled and well trained, NIH-supported, independent investigators from diverse backgrounds working in research areas supported by the BRAIN Initiative, as highlighted in BRAIN 2025: A Scientific Vision. This webinar will take you through the process of putting together an application for the NIH Blueprint Diversity Specialized Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Advancement in Neuroscience (D-SPAN) Award. The webinar will go through each part of the application, including eligibility, specific aims and research strategy, sponsor and co-sponsor information, letters of reference and support, and the certification letter. The second half of the webinar will be a question and answer session for attendees. This webinar was held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017.
