Have you read the latest BRAIN Initiative Alliance newsletter? BRAIN scientists are invited to share their tools with the scientific community in the Toolmakers Newsletter. These newsletters spotlight BRAIN Initiative investigators with tools, technologies, or theories ready for distribution to the research community to advance neurotechnology.
The BRAIN Initiative® Alliance (BIA) released its Fall 2024 edition of their Toolmakers Newsletter! This issue describes three neuroscience repositories and platforms that are helping to create more ways for researchers to access open, easily navigable neuroscience data:
- The Neuroscience Multi-Omic Archive (NeMO Archive) by Dr. Owen White, a data repository with millions of files and hundreds of terabytes of -omic data from the BRAIN Initiative.
- The Allen Brain Cell (ABC) Atlas by Dr. Elysha Fiabane, a data visualization and analysis platform helping researchers find more cell types in the brain and investigate their spatial locations.
- The Neuroelectromagnetic Data Archive and Tools Resource (NEMAR) by Dr. Scott Makeig, a gateway to OpenNeuro that makes it easier to find, explore, and process human neuroelectromagnetic data.
