OPEN House: Blueprint and BRAIN Initiative D-SPAN F99/K00 Award

Register for the virtual OPEN house for graduate students, mentors, and sponsored grant officers to learn about resources available in preparing their application.

The NIH Blueprint and BRAIN Initiative Diversity Specialized Predoctoral to Postdoctoral Advancement in Neuroscience (D-SPAN) Award (F99/K00 Clinical Trial Not Allowed) [RFA-NS-24-030] supports graduate students from diverse backgrounds as they cross career stages. It facilitates the completion of the doctoral dissertation (1-2 years) and the transition of talented graduate students to strong neuroscience research postdoctoral positions (up to 4 years). This award also provides career development opportunities relevant to their long-term career goal of becoming independent neuroscience researchers. For more information, please review the full funding opportunity linked above.

This virtual OPEN house will provide an overview of the application and scientific review processes, resources to prepare applications, and give the opportunity for attendees to ask NIH staff questions.

Register to attend the OPEN house taking place on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 1 - 2:30 pm ET on Zoom. Additional resources can also be found on the NIH Blueprint website and the D-SPAN F99/K00 FAQ website
