The BRAIN Initiative will host a webinar on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 for researchers interested in team science research opportunities and in applying for a U01 or U19 notice of funding opportunity (NOFO).

Do you want to learn more about team science? Join this educational webinar on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at 12 p.m. ET and learn about the team science approach, its importance to the BRAIN Initiative, and how to apply to team science grants, such as the U01 and U19.

The webinar will provide information about the BRAIN Initiative’s circuits program and the "Integrated and Quantitative Approaches to Understanding Circuits" notices of funding opportunities (NOFOs) that make up the program.

Who should attend? This is an educational opportunity for researchers who may have an interest in BRAIN Initiative team science and wish to learn more about how to apply to a U01 or U19 (basic experimental human research and clinical trial not allowed) NOFO. The BRAIN Initiative actively encourages individuals with diverse perspectives to apply for team science opportunities and it is not necessary to be a BRAIN grantee to attend the webinar.

What will the webinar address? Program leadership will discuss the BRAIN Initiative’s approach to team science, background and motivation for developing the U01 and U19 opportunities, application key elements and examples, the review process, and funding.

How to attend? The webinar is free and open to all who are interested in the topic. Please register here
