As it is often said: A picture is worth a thousand words. Neuroscience has made a significant leap since the beautiful hand drawings of Ramón y Cajal and their ability to capture the delicate details of neurons and dendrites. Modern technologies and next-generation innovations continue to allow us to capture and adore the intricacy yet beauty of the brain.
Each year, regardless of discipline, career stage, or funding source, we invite all those engaged with or interested in the Brain Research Through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies® (BRAIN) Initiative to submit their most fantastic, most artistic, and eye-catching images or short videos of the brain.
The good news is – we have extended the 2022 Show Us Your BRAINs! Photo & Video Contest deadline to April 30, 2022, at 5 pm (EST)! So, submit your photos & videos to the contest for a chance to be recognized at the 8th Annual BRAIN Initiative Meeting and be featured in next year's BRAIN Initiative calendar. Participants do not need to participate in the 8th Annual BRAIN Initiative Meeting to enter or win.
