NIH issues a change in due dates and eligibility criteria of supplements for BRAIN Initiative awardees to support resource dissemination

The new Notice of Change extends the current application due dates period and updates applicants’ eligibility regarding the previous Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) to facilitate dissemination efforts from BRAIN Initiative-funded researchers.

BRAIN launches 2nd annual BRAIN Initiative Challenge: Ethical Considerations of Brain Technologies

The BRAIN Initiative® has recently launched an essay and video contest for high school students called the BRAIN Initiative Challenge 2.0, which seeks diverse perspectives on the ethics surrounding emerging brain technologies. 

What would happen if humans could altogether stop the effects of aging on the brain? What if we could precisely map, record, and simulate the neural activity of memories? What if we could enhance brain function and intelligence?

Inviting your feedback on Industry Collaboration in Development and Dissemination of Non-Invasive Brain Imaging Technologies

This Request for Information (RFI) invites community input on opportunities to facilitate collaborations between academic/clinical researchers and potential commercial partners, to enhance the development and dissemination of non-invasive brain imaging technologies. The RFI is open until April 14, 2022.
