Highlights from this year’s BRAIN Initiative Alliance recap include BRAIN Initiative researchers participating in new collaborations, developing cutting-edge tools, and demonstrating exceptional talent as they aim to advance our understanding of the brain’s inner workings. 

This week-long, in-person workshop, taking place on June 26-30, 2023, provides attendees with an interactive course on neurobehavior. Applications are due March 3, 2023. 

This funding opportunity will support fundamental research to accelerate breakthroughs in support of the Biopreparedness Research Virtual Environment (BRaVE) Initiative. Applications are due May 9, 2023. 

This two-day, in-person workshop, taking place on July 13-14, 2023, provides a hands-on opportunity to learn how to use software tools developed in part at the Allen institute. Applications are due February 15, 2023. 

Dr. Sumaira Zamurrad is an F32 award recipient who used the funding opportunity to study neural circuits in Drosophila models. The F32 funding opportunity supports the research training of promising researchers early in their postdoctoral training period.
