The 7th International Symposium on Focused Ultrasound will address a wide range of topics as the field of focused ultrasound continues to grow. 

The goal of the workshop is to identify opportunities garnered through innovative technologies from The BRAIN Initiative^® 

This workshop will bring together bring together experts and key stakeholders from academia, government, industry, and non-profit organizations to explore emerging evidence regarding differences in transcriptomic abnormalities that occur in the brains of men versus women with a variety of brain disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, drug addiction, neurodegenerative conditions, and other brain disorders.

The purpose of this workshop is to stimulate discussions among experts to identify systematic experimental approaches to gain comprehensive insights into psychiatric disease mechanisms based on human genetic findings.

The BRAIN Multi-Council Working Group, which works to ensure a coordinated and focused effort on BRAIN across NIH, will hold an all-day meeting on Friday, August 21, 2020 in Bethesda, MD.
